A unique homage to a wonderful game.
A unique homage to a wonderful game.
It's one of my absolute favorite and most cherished series, I've tried making fan-art of it for years but never was happy with the results. I'm glad this finally happened! Thank you for the comment!
The anatomical study of the Titan's foot look a bit bizarre in this shot. But overall it's an ok composition.
I agree, I didn't even look up reference but tried to make it just from memory.
The shading is also off in my opinion. There are several things wrong with this piece, and I agree the foot is literally the biggest.
I learned allot from making this piece, but my flaws are still shining trough.
Thank you for your review
Something is odd about the placement of that left arm. It doesn't seem to correctly capture the motion in this piece. But it's a nice attempt.
You mean the side which crushes the orb, right?
I couldn't really find reference material so I guessed a little. Appart from the paint splashing out of her hand there is no other motion going on.
I suppose that it seems odd because of the the shading. But I believe also because the shoulders are exactly the same hight, while her right shoulder should have been higher. or maybe I am showing to much of the lower arm.
Yes I can see what I did wrong now, the wrist is making a really weird twist to get into that position. Thank you for pointing this out.
I like it. And I like the raw feel of it too
Cute and quirky. You have my sword.. and my bow..
...No axe? )':
So this was made in a 3d software program or? Rendering with AO ? Anti aliasing in mind?
Check this out for a better idea http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/mematron/solar-striker-pilot
You posted this rendition twice. But that's ok. One understands why.. It's not bad.. Although the linework is a bit jagged and odd.. It's nice though
Whoops. yeah, it didn't show I posted it the first time. But thanks! it was just a little something I threw together the other day.
It's nice. It's rather juicy and striking. As a gay man I still think adding sweat drops and specular shine on her would really make her pop. Wonderful effort though. xx
Thanks! I didn't think of adding sweat or shines, but I agree that would be hot! I'm just not too comfortable with shading just yet.
Agreed. Even a vignette would help make the character pop.
It was a nice attempt though, babez
yeah, i probably should have added something, though i guess this was more of an experiment with some new photoshop brushes i downloaded, i will probably do a more detailed one
